Dental Hygienist / Therapist

About the Role

Vere Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist or Therapist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. You will be working in a modern, purpose-built hygiene suite, delivering high-quality preventive care and periodontal treatment to a discerning private patient base. Extended duties therapists are warmly welcomed. You will be an integral part of our clinical team, supported by experienced dentists and a dedicated nursing team, and will have plenty of scope to develop your patient list and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine and complex periodontal therapy to private patients
• Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and dietary and lifestyle advice
• Carry out direct access appointments and extended duties treatments (therapists)
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team on shared patient care
• Maintain accurate records in line with GDC and practice guidelines
• Contribute to the practice's preventive dentistry ethos and patient education

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene and/or Dental Therapy
• Current, unrestricted GDC registration
• Experience in a private practice setting (preferred)
• Extended duties qualification welcomed
• Strong interpersonal skills and a gentle, patient-focused approach
• Professional indemnity in place or ability to obtain
